OUR PHILOSOPHIES
ADAPT: The Long-Term Adaptation Philosophy
A
Attune to Stress
All growth begins with stress, but only the right amount.
Athletes must understand how their body responds to training load, fatigue, and feedback. This is the hardest but most important metric to dial in, your perceptions and feelings.
D
Develop Progressively
Progressive overload is the cornerstone of adaptation.
The body improves when training stress increases gradually and logically — never rushed or forced. The nervous system takes 4-8 weeks to adapt to new stressors, and the muscular system takes 8-12 weeks to fully adapt.
A
ACT WITHIN CAPACITY
Embodied in the phrase “Train, Don’t Strain.”
Training should challenge, not exceed, your current limits.
Working within one’s capabilities ensures adaptation instead of breakdown.
P
Prioritise recovery
T
Adaptation happens after the workout.
Sleep, nutrition, and mental restoration convert training stress into performance gains.

TRAIN CONSISTENTLY
Small, repeatable efforts lead to lasting performance.
Consistency compounds over months and years, forming the foundation of all athletic growth.
