The Gold Coast Hinterland Greater Walk

The Scenic Rim Trail Club is back this year kicking it off with the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk starting at O'Reilly's and finishing at Springbrook. This is a multi-day hike of approximately 52km split over two days. A moderate fitness is recommended, but all are welcome! 

Your ticket price will include:

- Transport from Springbrook back to your car at O'Reilly's

- 4 meals provided (breakfast Saturday morning, 2 course dinner at Binna Burra Lodge Saturday night, breakfast Sunday morning, and packed lunch for the second day) *Please note BYO dinner Friday night or eat before arrival and BYO packed lunch for Saturday Binna Burra Tea house Dining 

- Accomodation for the night in a beautiful hiking cabin at Binna Burra spilt between 4 people with bedding and linen included Binna Burra Accomodation

-Accomodation for the Friday night before the hike at O'Reilly's in the Safari Tents split between 4 people with bedding and linen included ready for an early start on the Saturday morning

- Guided tour of the Hinterland Great Walk with some added bonuses not seen on the normal great walk Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk Video

- 2 Sunrises and Sunsets in some of the best locations in southeast queensland

- Knowledge on multi-day hiking and outdoor adventure planning

Hike Details

Friday:Arrive in the evening for sunset and BYOD at O'reillys Campground then sleep in safari tents no linen required.

Saturday: Sunrise Breakfast and coffee or OJ, 6am departure to Binna Burra to enjoy a 2 course dinner at the binna burra tea house and sunset with a little surprise. Sleep in Binna Burra Bunk houses. 

Sunday: Sunrise Breakfast and Coffee or OJ,  6am depart towards springbrook national park, lunch at sawmill cafe and then finish in springbrook no later than 6pm (most likely 3-4pm) 

Distance: 52km+ split into two days (approx 8 hours hiking per day more specifics to be released later)

Elevation gain: 1800m+

Terrain: National park trails, single track, fire trail, roadside. non technical
